Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 24, 2026 | Last updated: June 24, 2026

Westmod ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through https://www.westmod.com (the "Site") and in the course of providing our services, how we use and disclose it, and the rights you have over it. It also describes the rights and choices available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA").

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers — name, postal address, email address, phone number, IP address, and online identifiers.
  • Customer records — information you provide in forms, such as project details, service address, and contact preferences.
  • Commercial information — services inquired about or purchased, quotes requested, and transaction history.
  • Internet and network activity — browsing activity on our Site, pages viewed, time on site, referring URLs, and interactions with ads.
  • Geolocation data — approximate location derived from your IP address and the service area you identify.
  • Inferences — preferences and interests drawn from the above to deliver relevant communications.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (see "Sensitive Personal Information" below). We also do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at info@westmod.com and we will delete it.

2. Sources of Personal Information

  • Directly from you — when you fill out a contact, quote, or consultation form, call or text us, or otherwise communicate with us.
  • Automatically — through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you use our Site (see "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" below).
  • From third parties — such as advertising and analytics providers, lead-generation partners, and referral sources.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (including pixels and tags) on our Site. These fall into a few categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function and stay secure.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it (for example, Google Analytics).
  • Advertising — used to measure and deliver advertising across other platforms (for example, the Meta Pixel and Google advertising tags). These may involve "sharing" of identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and California residents can opt out of advertising-related sharing as described under "Sale and Sharing of Personal Information." We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, consultations, and services;
  • To process and fulfill projects and transactions;
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications you have not opted out of;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our Site and services;
  • To measure and improve our advertising, including through analytics and conversion tracking;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

5. How We Disclose Your Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers and contractors who perform functions on our behalf — such as website hosting, customer-relationship management, email and text messaging, scheduling, payment processing, and document handling — under contracts that restrict their use of the information.
  • Advertising and analytics partners (for example, Meta and Google) that help us measure and deliver advertising. These disclosures may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics technologies (such as the Meta Pixel and Google advertising tags) may be considered "selling" or "sharing" of identifiers and internet activity for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA.

You have the right to opt out. To do so, visit our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We also honor opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), transmitted by your browser.

In the preceding 12 months, we may have shared the following categories for advertising purposes: identifiers, internet/network activity, and inferences. We do not share sensitive personal information for these purposes, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

7. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:

  • Right to know / access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
  • Right to delete — to request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing — to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — to the extent we use such information for purposes beyond those permitted.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights

You may submit a request by emailing info@westmod.com or calling (626) 261-0825. To opt out of sale/sharing, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We will verify your identity before fulfilling access, deletion, or correction requests, typically by confirming information already associated with you. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.

8. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect or process sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, or information revealing health, race, religion, or similar categories) for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required notices and choices.

9. Data Retention

We retain each category of personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services you requested, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. Inquiry and lead information is generally retained for 24 months after your last interaction, unless a longer period is required.

10. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
